GP TsEV “Tunduk” is the third largest operator in the world to deploy the Interdepartmental Electronic Interaction System (SMEV) on the OpenSource X-Road platform.

The state-owned enterprise Center of Electronic Interaction “ Tunduk” became the third largest operator in the world, fully deploying the Inter-Agency Electronic Interaction System (SMEV) on the X-Road platform.

To date, its own SMEV on X-Road built in Estonia and Finland. Work on the turnaround of SMEV on this system are conducted by such countries as Canada, Japan, India, Argentina, Ukraine, the Cayman Islands, the Faroe Islands, Armenia, Uganda and others.

The World Bank notes the importance of the X-Road platform as a central infrastructure for building information systems in the state. The advantages of this system are that it is distributed under an open MIT license along with open source, which allows each SMEV operator to customize it to their own needs.

Thus, according to www.X-Road.com, GP TsEV “Tunduk” is the third largest X-Road operator in the world besides the Estonian SMEV “X-Tee” and SMEV of Finland “Palveluväylä”.

According to a number of experts in the field of IT and e-government development, Kyrgyzstan has every chance to break into the TOP 10 countries on the development of e-gov systems in the UN ranking already in 2018. At the presentation of the digital transformation projects of Taza Koom, held last week, it was announced that every citizen of the republic will see positive results this year.

Reference: X-Road is a platform for the Open Source Interdepartmental Electronic Interaction System. In the world there are various platforms for state-owned SMEV, most of which are proprietary and very expensive to acquire and maintain.

GP TsEV “Tunduk” was created on April 13, 2018 as a state enterprise under the State Committee of Information Technologies and Communications. The goal of the project is to increase the efficiency of management in government bodies by ensuring prompt data acquisition.
