From November 16 politmer.kg begin online debate of political parties

November 16, 2012 on the website www.politmer.kg («Politmer”) will begin debate of political parties in real time. In the debate expressed their desire to participate 22 parties. Each party will participate with a maximum of three people. They will not have to travel from their headquarters in the studio, as we usually do. Duration is 58 minutes of debate. The scenario is as follows:

• Introduction – 3 minutes for each batch. Presentation of the party and the election program. After the time, the microphone is automatically switched off
• Questions parties to each other – 10 minutes for each batch.
• Questions from users – 15 minutes for each batch. To leave comments and ask questions, please use the button “Login”. The question may be for a party or a general question for everyone. Questions are moderated for offensive language.
• Conclusion – 1 minute for each party.

The advantage of an online debate that they will not be the leader. Team “Politmera” will provide only technical functions: switch timer for each round and manage microphone.

The first stage of the discussions will be held on November 16 at 14:00 online www.politmer.kg.

In addition to online debates on the site recently earned the heading “Ridiculous Initiative,” in which a database of statements made by politicians, caused great debate in society. The purpose of this column – to enable users to get information about the absurdity of policy initiatives and to draw conclusions about their competence and performance. Once a month, the team “Politmera” will be a vote for the most ridiculous initiative. Users can vote without registration. Giving voice can be no more than once for each initiative. After summing up, the winners will be awarded with virtual gold, silver and bronze acorn. Acorn – the symbol of the oak initiative.

Site www.politmer.kg started September 26, 2011 on the eve of the presidential election. Resource will allow voters to get objective information about the presidential candidates: biographical information, record, and “Dossier” candidate – a history of statements that have been made public in recent years. At the moment the team “Politmera” monitors promises of politicians and monitors their implementation. Among politicians – President of the Kyrgyz Republic, the full composition of the government, members of parliament, the head of the municipality and the policy does not hold public office.
