Experts together with deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic, representatives of state bodies, as well as international organizations and the diplomatic corps are expected to participate in the round table.
The purpose of the event is to find the best solutions for digital transformation, discuss the proposed new Concept of the National Program, approaches and ideas with development partners, government officials, experts and the business community, taking into account the experience of other states. The draft Concept of the National Program was developed with the participation of all interested parties pursuant to the instructions of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The roundtable will discuss the draft Concept of the National Digital Transformation Program “Digital Kyrgyzstan” 2019-2023, the main approaches to creating conditions for the emergence of the digital economy, the introduction of new digital technologies in public administration, the creation of digital public services, competence centers, innovative clusters, new opportunities for the country’s population and conditions for an economic breakthrough, taking into account international experience in introducing digital innovations.
The event is being held by the Secretariat of the Security Council of the Kyrgyz Republic together with the State Committee for Information Technologies and Communications and the Civic Initiative Internet Policy Public Foundation with the support of the United Nations Development Program in the Kyrgyz Republic.
