On 4 – 8 June 2018, a Digital Rights School will be held in Bishkek, organized by the Civic Initiative of Internet Policy, with the support of the Open Society Institute (United Kingdom) and the Soros Foundation-Kyrgyzstan.
The general theme of the five-day trainings will be the Taza Koom digital transformation program of the state and the rights of citizens. The course participants will study the issues of personal data protection, trust and security in the digital economy, get acquainted with Taza Koom projects and get practical skills and recommendations on cybersecurity and digital data protection.
The trainers of the School will be the leading experts from Russia and Kyrgyzstan, who possess advanced knowledge and international standards in the fields of personal data protection, digital economy, cryptography, digital hygiene and ensuring digital freedoms.
Representatives of non-governmental non-profit organizations, actively promoting reform processes in various sectors of government, civil society activists, lawyers, as well as government representatives interested in gaining new knowledge about digital transformation processes are invited to attend the School.
The School of Digital Law is an intensive training course on the legal regulation of significant public relations, the rights and freedoms of citizens in the digital era, which has been held since 2015.
Applications for participation are open until June 1, 2018.
