Ensuring and protecting human rights in the digital environment
On January 29-31, 2018, regular trainings will start in Bishkek within the framework of the School of Digital Rights conducted by the Public Foundation Civic Initiative of Internet Policy.
The general theme of the three-day January trainings on digital rights will be “Ensuring and protecting human rights in the digital environment” – digital identity, digital transformation and digital economy, digital security.
The trainers of the School will be leading experts from Russia, Belarus, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, who know the trends and international standards in the areas of personal data protection, privacy, access to information in the digital environment, digital economy, cryptography, blockchain technology, cyber defense, digital hygiene, ensuring digital freedoms .
Representatives of non-governmental non-profit organizations, actively promoting reform processes in various sectors of government, civil society activists, lawyers, as well as government representatives interested in gaining new knowledge about the digital transformation processes of the state, are invited to attend the School.
The School of Digital Rights is an intensive training course on the legal regulation of significant public relations, the rights and freedoms of citizens in the digital era, since 2014, conducted by the Public Foundation Civic Initiative Internet Policy. The project is implemented with the support of the Open Society Foundations (OSF, United Kingdom) and the Soros Foundation-Kyrgyzstan.
