Kyrgyz government and IBM will sign memorandum

The Government of Kyrgyzstan and IBM will sign a memorandum on joint development and implementation of the roadmap and management system for the National program “Taza Koom 2040” for the period 2017 – 2025.

 

A ceremony of signing a memorandum of cooperation between the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic and IBM Eastern Europe/Asia will be held on Monday, 24 July, in Bishkek, in the building of the State Committee of Information Technologies and communications.

 

Memorandum “on mutual understanding in the sphere of joint cooperation on development and implementation of detailed road map and creation of long-term sustainable management system for the national Program of Digital Transformation” “Taza Koom” 2040 “for the period of 2017 – In 2025. And for the long term “confirms the role of IBM as the main technical consultant for Kyrgyzstan to develop the Taza Koom program.

 

Thus, the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic reaffirms the high priority of digital transformation as a long-term strategy for sustainable development and expects the cooperation of IBM to use the best international experience to Development of the most effective approach to the implementation of the national program.

 

IBM is expected to assist in the implementation of the strategic objectives of the Taza-Koom programme:

  • On development of modern and accessible digital infocommunication infrastructure;
  • Creation of the ecosystem of the wide use of modern information and communication technologies in the sphere of public administration and in the social and economic sphere;
  • Development of digital services and applications that form a broad public support for the formation of an open digital community;
  • Formation of the best conditions in the territory of Kyrgyzstan for the development of ICT-oriented innovations and cooperation.

 

Reference: The national program of Digital Transformation of the Kyrgyz Republic “Taza Koom” is a national high-tech project on State Building, which provides high-level state services in electronic form and will create the best conditions for business. Implementation of this project will help to increase transparency in the system of public administration and will become a tool for prevention of corruption. The Taza-Koom project is part of the National Sustainable Development Strategy (NSUR) up to the 2040 year.
