{"id":3330,"date":"2017-09-20T05:54:19","date_gmt":"2017-09-20T05:54:19","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/giip.loc\/?page_id=3330\/"},"modified":"2019-04-19T05:51:37","modified_gmt":"2019-04-19T05:51:37","slug":"digital-rights-school","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/internetpolicy.kg\/en\/our-projects\/digital-rights-school\/","title":{"rendered":"Digital Rights School"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Digital Rights School is a seminar on legal regulation in the digital age, organized by the Public Foundation &#8211; <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Civil Initiative on Internet Policy<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The aim of the seminar is to disseminate information on a simple and understandable language about electronic signature, identification, authorization, electronic document, electronic document management, electronic management and services, electronic resources, personal data, confidential information and others.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Digital Rights School has been held since October 2015. The target audience of the school is representatives of state bodies, universities, non-profit organizations and private lawyers. The seminar program assumes the presence of new trends in the field of legal regulation and is constantly improving with accordance to the suggestions and demands of our listeners. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The school of digital rights is fully consistent with the modern era by being mobile and ubiquitous. Five schools were conducted in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan; Astana, Almaty, Republic of Kazakhstan; Khujant, Dushanbe, Bokhtar Tajikistan.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The first digital rights school<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> was held on January 29-31, 2018 in the city of Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. The participants were civil society representatives, mass media of Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan, representatives of state bodies. The main issue of 3 &#8211; day trainings in January was <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ensuring and protecting human rights in the digital environment <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">as well as digital identity, digital transformation and digital economics, digital security. Special attention was paid to the protection of personal data and the study of international experience in this field.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The second school<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> was held on June 4-8, 2018 in the city of Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. The participants were the representatives of Kyrgyz civil society. The theme of the school was <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The digital transformation of the state of Taza Koom and the digital rights of citizens. Electronic civil system, digital transformation and digital economy, digital security, big data, digital network CASA<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, as well as an overview of digital projects launched in Kyrgyzstan, such as: digital health, digital transformation of the education system, electronic notariate and electronic registration of legal entities where students could get practical skills and recommendations to protect their digital data.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The third school<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> was held on June 18-20, 2018 in Astana, Kazakhstan. The participants were civil society, mass media of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. The themes of the school were <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Digital rights to freedom of expression on the Internet and access to information<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. During the school special emphasis was made on the protection of digital rights in cyberspace, digital security on the Internet.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The fourth school<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> was held on November 8-10, 2018 in Almaty, Kazakhstan. The participants were civil society, mass media of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. Topics of the school were <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Digital rights to freedom of expression on the Internet and access to information<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Special attention was paid to legal security on the Internet.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The fifth school<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> is December 10-16, 2018 in the cities of Dushanbe, Khujand, Bokhtar of Tajikistan. The participants were civil society, mass media of Tajikistan. The theme of the school was<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Approaches to regulating cyberspace: Balance of freedom and security; Digital forensics, personal data protection, digital security<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. With special attention were discussed such issues as protection of digital rights in cyberspace, digital security on the Internet.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The experience of conducting DLSs in neighboring countries has proven the effectiveness of having a NGO partner in each country. In particular, to address issues of logistics, administration and adjustment of the agenda in the local context. The agenda of each of them was adjusted to the national situation, the requirements of the audience and the principle of \u201cindividual day &#8211; individual theme\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The CIIP created advocacy oriented learning environment.
